Now, we all know that there is a lot of money to be made repairing the right car, but what kind of rebuildables can you expect to find with this list in hands? A rebuildable could be a vehicle involved in a car accident. It could also be a theft recovery, a flood or a burn. You could also occasionally come across a vandalized vehicle, which is much less common.

Basically, there are four kinds of "Titles" given by the authorities to a rebuildable: Clean, Salvage, Rebuilt and Junk. A rebuildable with a "Clean Title" will be worth more once finished. A rebuildable with a "Salvage Title" will worth a bit less, and most states require additional inspections before it can be plated. Once inspected a "Salvage Title" car will receive a "Rebuilt Title". Finally, a rebuilder with a junk (non-repairable) Title will not return on the road in North America. Nevertheless, you can export it to countries which allow them, or take it for parts.

There are two kinds of websites where you can buy repairables cars

 

The first one is salvage dealers offering you vehicles for a fixed price, which is negotiable. My package lists more than 140 of them.
